I took Big Bucks home with me on 2/23/11. After a restless first night, which was to be expected, he started to feel more at home. Buck sleeps in a expen (corral) in our room and is now quiet through the night. During the day, when we are at work, he is very comfortable in his crate with a stuffed Kong that he enjoys. He is doing well with our three other greyhounds and Tuesday he will get to meet three of my sons dogs. Buck is a little leary of new people and new sounds, but soon gets comfortable with them. He takes a treat very gently and is learning how to wait for his meals and to sit for a cookie. This is a work in progress. I always say that the beginning of a racing greyhound becoming a pet is when they can relax outside of their crate on a nice soft bed. I have found that this usually happens on the average of 3-4 days. Buck found his soft bed, outside of his crate yesterday afternoon 2/6/11 right on schedule. He now prefers to spend time with us instead of his crate. Do you have a soft bed for Buck. He will melt your heart.

BB (Big Bucks) is a great dog. He's sweet and fun to be around. He likes to play, but he also likes attention. That's the best of both worlds. This boy will charm you from the moment you meet him.

Mr. Big Bucks is one adorable boy. The markings on his face are too cute and he's a friendly lovebug. he's very good on a leash and so soft. He wants a bed of his own in a family home, he'll be a
great addition for someone. Eda

What a pleasure to be around
This guy is a great dog. He was a very good walker and seems to enjoy visiting with people and his Greyhound kennel mates. To top that off he's got good looks as well.
